What This Group Is About:
- Beneath our struggles there is a deeper sense of wholeness that connects us all. Healing deepens our capacity for love, compassion, and connection with one another. We are not alone when we come together in this spirit of openness and care.
- A natural form of leadership emerges from this recognition of our shared humanity. One rooted not in authority, but in presence and a growing sense of love and oneness with ourselves and each other.
- As we learn to listen to ourselves and to one another more deeply, something natural begins to unfold. We begin to see that we are not as separate as we once believed. A sense of connection, compassion, and shared humanity emerges.
- Leadership in this group does not mean power over others.
It means learning to live from our deeper awareness and recognizing the same dignity and potential within ourselves and within one another.

What Inspired Me to Create this Group:
- This group was born from my own journey of walking through the depths of trauma, chronic pain, and disability and slowly discovering that healing is not only possible, but transformative.
- For many years I searched for ways to understand suffering, not only in my own life, but in the lives of the people I worked with. That search led me to a deeper recognition that beneath even our most difficult experiences, there is a wholeness within us that is never truly lost.
- My life’s work has grown from this understanding. I have spent my career in the fields of education, legal advocacy, and mental health, supporting others as they navigate profound challenges and rediscover their own strength.
- Alongside this work, I have taught yoga and meditation for more than 15 years, exploring practices that help people reconnect with their bodies, calm the nervous system, and awaken a deeper awareness of themselves.
- Today my work brings these paths together. It is rooted in lived experience, grounded in compassion, and inspired by the belief that when we courageously face our suffering, we can rediscover our wholeness. From that place, a powerful and authentic form of leadership begins to emerge.
